PVR gains on talk of acquiring majority stake in Zea Maize

Zea Maize is the owner of Delhi-based startup 4700BC Popcorn.

Shares of PVR were up nearly 3% at Rs 858 on the Bombay Stock Exchange amid reports that it has bought majority stake in Zea Maize Pvt Ltd.

Zea Maize Pvt Ltd is the owner of Delhi-based startup 4700BC Popcorn.

The stock opened at Rs 843 and touched a high of Rs 861. At 11:05AM, over 175,000 shares were traded on both the stock exchanges.
