According to the data available with the market regulator Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi), Indian companies garnered a total of Rs 14,420 crore from the debt on a private placement basis route through 122 issues.

This was the lowest amount raised in by companies through private placement of debt securities since April when they had garnered Rs 23,515 crore through the same route.
