Ranbaxy GDR up marginally

GDR/ADR ROUND-UP

The Instanex Skindia DR index (ISDI) was down 2.22 per cent to 1358.99 in the early morning trades. Among ISDI GDR stocks three advanced , two remained unchanged and two lost ground.

The gainers were-Ranbaxy Labs, up 0.83 per cent to $12.10, Reliance, up 0.64 per cent to $31.49 and State Bank of India was up 0.54 per cent to $46.50. The losers were-Hindalco, down 2.34 per cent to $31.25 and ITC, down 0.13 per cent to $38.70.

In the previous day's close among ISDI ADRs, all the seven lost ground.

The major losers were-VSNL, down 5.49 per cent to $16.70, HDFC Bank, down 4.69 per cent to $47.31 and ICICI Bank, down 4.40 per cent to $23.24.
