Reliance, Sbi Gdr Find Favour
The Instanex Skindia DR Index (ISDI) was up 2.02 per cent to 512.16 on Monday in early trades in London as compared to its previous close at 5:00 PM IST.
All ISDI global depository receipts stocks advanced with Bajaj Auto (up 5.29 per cent to $10.95), State Bank of India (up 3.38 per cent to $15.30) and ITC (up 3.35 per cent to $14.21). Reliance and State Bank of India were heavily traded in the morning session today, registering volumes of around 1,00,000 GDRs.
On April 4, among ISDI ADR stocks, five advanced and three lost ground. The major gainers were ICICI Bank (up 5.35 per cent to $6.70), HDFC Bank (up 5.31 per cent to $16.85) and VSNL (up 1.52 per cent to $3.35) and the losers were Infosys (down 2.14 per cent to $61.75), MTNL (down 1.17 per cent to $4.22) and Dr Reddy
