Reliance Petroinvestments' appeal adjourned by SAT till Sept 30

Sebi in May 2013 had imposed a penalty of Rs 11 cr on Reliance Petroinvestments in an insider trading case

The Securities Appellate Tribunal (SAT) on Tuesday adjourned hearing to September 30 in the appeal filed by Reliance Petroinvestments, an arm of Reliance Industries, against the market regulator. The Securities and Exchange Board of India  in May 2013 had imposed a penalty of Rs 11 crore on Reliance Petroinvestments in an insider trading case. The company had approached the tribunal in June last year.
