Market intermediaries interested in forming a self-regulatory organisation (SRO) for mutual fund distributors can file their applications till July 31, the Securities and Exchange Board of India said on Thursday.
The move follows notification of norms by Sebi in January to set up an SRO for regulation of distributors of mutual fund and portfolio management products.
