Selling continues unabated... Sensex down 700pts

The Sensex is now down 697 points at 10,786 on the back of unabated selling.

Reliance Infrastrucuture and Jaiprakash Assocaites have slumped over 14% each to Rs 543 and Rs 73, respectively.

Reliance Communications has tumbled nearly 13% to Rs 234.

Larsen & Toubro and Tata Steel have plunged over 10% each to Rs 900 nd Rs 274, respectively.

ICICI Bank and Sterlite have shed over 8% each at Rs 410 and Rs 299, respectively.

Bharti Airtel, TCS and HDFC have slipped around 7.5% each to Rs 706, Rs 548 and Rs 1,704, respectively.

The market breadth is extremely negative - out of 2,528 stocks traded so far, 2,045 have declined, 440 have advanced and 43 are unchanged.
