Sensex at 9K, up 500pts; M&M zooms 14%
The Sensex is now up 492 points at 9,001.
Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) has zoomed 13.5% to Rs 281. Tata Motors and Jaiprakash Associates have soared 12% each to Rs 157 and Rs 60, respectively.
Hindalco and Reliance Infrastructure have surged 11% each to Rs 45 and Rs 440, respectively. DLF has rallied 4.7% to Rs 217.
Grasim has gained 8.6% at Rs 1,035. Tata Steel, Wipro and TCS have advanced around 8% each to Rs 182, Rs 238 and Rs 536, respectively.
