Sensex back in red; TCS slips 3%

The Sensex has slipped back into the negative zone and is now down 26 points at 14,630.

The NSE Nifty is down six points at 4,408.

Ranbaxy has surged 3% to Rs 525. Grasim has rallied 2.7% to Rs 1,885.

Maruti and Jaiprakash Associates have gained 2% each at Rs 572 and Rs 174, respectively.

Tata Steel has moved up 1.7% to Rs 692. ACC, Satyam and SBI have advanced 1.3% each to Rs 584, Rs 396 and Rs 1,520, respectively.

TCS has dropped nearly 3% to Rs 815. Reliance has shed 2% at Rs 2,254.

HDFC, BHEL and ONGC are down around 1.3% each at Rs 2,370, Rs 1,735 and Rs 984, respectively.

Out of 2,662 stocks traded so far, 1,840 have advanced, 744 have declined and 78 are unchanged.
