Sensex down 194pts; Bharti, RCom up

The NSE Nifty is down 39 points at 5,097.

Satyam, TCS and Infosys have plunged around 4% each to Rs 469, Rs 927 and Rs 1,770, respectively. Wipro has dropped 3.4% to Rs 482.

ITC has slumped 4.3% to Rs 217. ICICI Bank has tumbled 2.5% to Rs 897.

Larsen & Toubro, Jaiprakash Associates and Tata Motors have slipped over 2% each to Rs 2,920, Rs 269 and Rs 665, respectively.

HDFC Bank has declined nearly 2% to Rs 1,515, and Reliance Energy has dropped 1.5% to Rs 1,413.

SBI and Maruti are down 1% each at Rs 1,750 and Rs 767, respectively.

Bharti Airtel and Reliance Communications (RCom) have mvoed up around 1.5% each to Rs 829 and Rs 548, respectively.

ACC is up over 1% at Rs 745.
