The Sensex has continued to exhibit volatile traits and is now down 19 points at 16,939. The Nifty is down nine points at 5,018.

The Sensex is exhibiting extreme volatility and is now at 16,941, down 18 points.
The NSE Nifty is at 5,022, down five points.
Sterlite has advanced 5% to Rs 814. Jaiprakash Associates has added 3.5% to Rs 239.
Hindalco, BHEL, Tata Steel and Tata Motors have increased 1-3% each.
TCS and Wipro have declined over 3% each to Rs 592 and Rs 580, respectively.
Maruti and Infosys have dropped over 2.5% each to Rs 1,549 and Rs 2,248, respectively.
Reliance Communications, Bharti Airtel, Grasim Industries, Hindustan Unilever and ICICI Bank are down 1-2% each.
The market breadth is fairly positive, out of 2,705 shares traded, 1,606 advanced and 998 declined so far on the BSE.
