The Sensex opened 25 points lower at 9,205. The index has touched a high of 9,225, and a low of 9,136 in early morning trades so far. The Sensex is now down 12 points at 9,218.
DLF has soared over 3% to Rs 220. Tata Motors has surged 2.5% to Rs 155.
Mahindra & Mahindra has rallied over 2% to Rs 260. Reliance Communications and Tata Power has moved up 1.5% each to Rs 200 and Rs 694, respectively.
Grasim is up 1% at Rs 938.
Infosys has plunged nearly 4% to Rs 1,149. Satyam, TCS and Sterlite have shed nearly 3% each at Rs 226, Rs 534 and Rs 250, respectively.
Tata Steel has dropped 2.5% to Rs 183. ICICI Bank and Wipro have slipped around 2% each to Rs 357 and Rs 228, respectively.
Hindalco has declined 1.5% to Rs 52. ACC is down over 1% at Rs 423.
