Sensex, Nifty up marginally

The Sensex is now up 44 points at 17,367.
The NSE Nifty is now up nine points at 5,151.
Sterlite has gained 2.5% at Rs 842.
TCS has moved up 1.8% to Rs 610, and DLF has added 1.3% to Rs 467.
SBI, Bharti Airtel and Reliance Communications are up around 1% each at Rs 2,482, Rs 331 and Rs 237, respectively.
ICICI Bank, however, is down nearly 1% at Rs 950.
Among non-index stocks Hindustan Copper has surged 4% to Rs 216. IRB Infrastructure, Yes Bank, RCF, Castrol and Hindustan Zinc are up 2-4% each.
On the other hand, GTL Infrastructure, EIH, Biocon, Proctor & Gamble, Nagarjuna Constructions and Tata Communications are down 1-2% from the BSE A-gourp stocks.
