Weak quarterly nos drag US markets

US markets slipped on friday as a weak quarterly performance from Bank of America and GE increased concerns about the pace of recovery.

The Dow dropped 67 points to 9,996. The Nasdaq slipped 16 points to 2,157.

Indian ADRs were in the red, barring Sterlite, which surged over 7% to $17.82.

Patni Computers tumbled 3.5% to $18.29. MTNL and Tata Motors shed 3% each at $3.4 and $12.22, respectively.

HDFC bank dropped 2.5% to $123.19. Infosys, Tata Communications and Dr Reddy's slipped 2% each.

Mahindra Satyam and Genpact were down over 1% each at $6.5 and $11.58, respectively.
