Sensex rebounds into positive

The Sensex has rebounded into the psotive and is now at 16,289, up 52 points. The NSE Nifty is at 4,869, up 12 points.

The Sensex is now flat at 16,215, down 22 points. The NSE Nifty is at 4,848, down seven points.

Among the Sensex-30 stocks, Mahindra & Mahindra, Reliance Infrastructure and DLF have declined 1% each to Rs 983, Rs 979 and Rs 282, respectively.

HDFC Bank, Hindalco, Sterlite, Reliance, HUL and Jaiprakash Associates are the other major losers on the Sensex, down 0.5% each.

Sun Pharma, Tata Power, ICICI Bank and Tata Motors on the other hand have advanced 0.5% each.
