Sensex recovers again, down 458pts; Tata Power up 3%

The Sensex has once again recovered and is now down 458 points at 11,237.

Sterlite has slumped nearly 11% to Rs 280, and Wipro has tumbled 10.5% to Rs 275.

ICICI Bank has plunged 9% to Rs 441. Tata Steel and Jaiprakash Associates have shed 8.5% each at Rs 327 and Rs 92, respectively.

Satyam has dropped 8% to Rs 257, and TCS has slipped 7.5% to Rs 533.

Reliance Infrastructure and Grasim have declined nearly 6% each to Rs 613 and Rs 1,525, respectively.

Tata Motors, Infosys and Maruti are down around 5% each at Rs 300, Rs 1,237 and Rs 638, respectively.

ITC has shed 4.8% at Rs 166, and Hindalco is down 4.5% at Rs 91.

Ranbaxy has surged 5.7% to Rs 271, and Tata Power has rallied over 3% to Rs 792.

Out of 2,543 stocks traded so far, 2,265 have declined, 250 have advanced and the rest are unchanged.
