Sensex up 100pts in early trades

The Sensex today opened at 14,962, up 41 points. The index is now moving sidewards and is 104 points higher at 15,017.

DLF has added 3% to Rs 348. NTPC has advanced 2% to Rs 208.

Larsen & Toubro, Jaiprakash Associates, SBI and Reliance Infrastructures have moved up over 1.5% each at Rs 1,636, Rs 217, Rs 1,838 and Rs 1,311, respectively.

Tata Steel on the other hand has declined 1% to Rs 432.
