Ranbaxy has soared 7.5% to Rs 440. Reliance Infrastructure has surged 3.3% to Rs 793.
HDFC, Satyam and Jaiprakash Associates have rallied 3% each to Rs 1,857, Rs 411 and Rs 150, respectively.
BHEL has moved up 2.7% to Rs 1,409. Hindalco, Larsen & Toubro and Bharti Airtel have added 2.5% each to Rs 142, Rs 2,336 and Rs 727, respectively.
