Siemens, Wipro to make way for IndusInd Bank, NMDC in Nifty index

Private sector lender IndusInd Bank and state-owned miner NMDC will be included in the 50-share Nifty, the country's most-traded index, from April 1. These two companies will replace Siemens and Wipro, said indices maker India Index Services & Products, a joint venture between the National Stock Exchange and CRISIL. The financial sector has the highest weightage on the Nifty and with the inclusion of IndusInd Bank, this is set to increase further.
