Silver futures marginally up on global cues

At the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the July contract rose by Rs 44, or 0.08%, to Rs 55,612 per kg in 26 lots.

Prices were supported by participants who enlarged their positions.

Firming trend in the global markets has had positive impact.

In Singapore, silver rose as much as 0.20% to $28.88 an ounce.
