| Spot price of silver rose to Rs 10,410 per kilogram on Saturday, up Rs 80 from Rs 10,330 last week. It hit a low of Rs 10, 285 on Thursday, down from the previous day's high of Rs 10,485, before rising once again on Friday. |
| Meanwhile, 10 grams standard gold closed at Rs 5930 Saturday from the previous week's close of Rs 5950. Pure gold closed at Rs 5970 against Rs 5995. |
| On the National Commodities and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), the March contract closed at Rs 5928 from Rs 6118.35 the previous week. The open interest stood at 2,76,800 grams, with a volume of 94,100 grams in 475 trades. |
| The April contract closed at Rs 5939.90 on Friday, up from Rs 6135.35 amid an open interest of 72,400 grams with a volume of 34,600 grams in 173 trades. |
| The May gold contract closed at Rs 5936.80 on Friday from Rs 6057.35. The open interest was 47,400 grams with a volume of 13,700 grams in 86 trades. |
| The March silver contract closed at Rs 10,060 from Rs 10,182 the previous Friday. The volume of contract stood at 3390 kilograms amid an open interest of 4335 kgs with 382 trades. |
| The April contract closed at Rs 9988.10 from Rs 10,184.10. The volume of contract was 1905 kgs, with an open interest of 2230 kgs and 219 trades. |
| The May contract closed at Rs 10,003.95 on Friday from Rs 10,009.60 at the start of the week. The open interest stood at 740 kgs with 98 trades and a volume of 725 kgs. |
| On the Multi Commodities Exchange (MCX), the April contract of gold futures closed up at Rs 5945 on Friday as against the previous week's close of Rs 6132. The total volume of contract stood at 4, 30,000 grams with 394 trades. Open positions stood at 8,60,000. |
| The June contract closed at Rs 5985 on Friday when compared with last week's price of Rs 6103. The open interest stood at 20,000 grams with two trades and a volume of 2,000 grams traded. |
| The April contract of mini gold closed trade at Rs 5953 on Friday compared with the previous week's Rs 6134. The volume of contract stood at 33,200 grams, with 178 trades. The open positions stood at 68,600 grams. |
| Silver futures closed for the March contract at Rs 9998 on Friday down from Rs 10,043. The open interest stood at 430 kilograms, with a volume of 740 kilograms in 104 trades. |
| On the National Multi Commodities Exchange (NMCE), March gold futures contracts closed at Rs 5973 on Saturday as against Rs 6121 the previous week. The volume of contracts stood at 28 lots (two sided) with an open interest of 60 kilograms. |
