Small sugar moves up on retail demand

Small sugar prices moved up slightly at the Vashi Wholesale market here today on mild retail buying. 

Meanwhile, medium sugar variety witnessed a mixed pattern of trading owing to alternate bouts of buying and selling.

Small sugar quality (S-30) edged up by Rs 1/5 per quintal to Rs 2,961/3,010 from overnight closing level of Rs 2,960/ 3,005.

Medium sugar quality (M-30) were quoted at Rs 2,998/3,061 per quintal as against Rs 3,001/3,051 yesterday.
