Small sugar weakens on poor demand
Small sugar prices moved down further at the Vashi wholesale market here today due to subdued offtake from retailers coupled with ample supply position.
Meanwhile, medium sugar variety witnessed a mixed pattern of trading owing to alternate bouts of buying and selling.
Small sugar (S-30) fell by Rs 10 per quintal to Rs 2,731/2,800 from its overnight closing level of Rs 2,731/2,810.
Medium sugar (M-30) were quoted at Rs 2,746/2,886 per quintal as compared to Rs 2,771/2,881 yesterday.

Small sugar (S-30) quality Rs 2,731/2,800 (Rs 2,731/ 2,810) and Medium sugar (M-30) quality Rs 2,746/2,886 (Rs 2,771/2,881)
