Soymeal exports down 78% in Oct

Soymeal exports in the month of October stood at 51,050 tonnes compared to 2,34,594 tonnes during the same period last year down by 78%, according to data released by The Soybean Processors Association of India (SOPA).

Soymeal exports were down drastically this year as soybean was not available for crushing due to which exports of meal was impacted.

On a financial year basis, the export during April to October stood at 8,88,128 tonnes as compared to 13,63,446 tonnes in the same period of previous year.
