The SREI Infrastructure scrip increased 4.02 per cent to close at Rs 75.05 on the news of getting the regulator’s nod for its mutual fund foray. The company would be incorporating two wholly-owned subsidiaries for carrying out the asset management business.
The stock opened at Rs 71.5 and made a low of Rs 70.55 before touching its day’s high at Rs 76.7. The trading volumes were 14 lakh shares, about twice of its two-week average. The stock has a 52-week high of Rs 105.6 and a low of Rs 22.3.
