Steel, iron remain steady in thin trade

Steady conditions prevailed on the the local steel and iron market today as prices moved in a tight range on lack of worthwhile buying activity and settled around previous levels.
Market analysts said lack of worthwhile buying activity kept steel prices unaltered.
Following are today's quotations per tonne:
