Steel prices remain steady in thin trade
The wholesale steel market closed on a steady note today as most steels, after trading in a tight-range in the absence of worthwhile activity, settled around previous closing levels.
Arrivals and offtake too remained at a low ebb and volume of business also dropped considerably.
Marketmen said absence of buying support from construction units mainly kept steel prices unaltered.
