Sugar down 0.2% on ample supplies

Sugar futures for March declined by Rs 6, or 0.20%, to trade at Rs 3,060 per quintal in 30,400 lots.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), the April contract shed Rs 4, or 0.13%, to Rs 3,128 per quintal in 26,440 lots.
Higher physical market supplies affected the trade.
In Kolhapur, sugar fell Rs 9 to Rs 3,200 per quintal yesterday.
