Ujaas Energy gains on Rs 88 crore contract from Oil India

The order from Oil India is for setting up a solar power plant and its 25-year maintenance contract

Shares of Ujaas Energy were up nearly 5% at Rs 15 after the company announced that it has won a contract for setting up a solar power plant along with its long-term maintenance contract from Oil India.

The company has received an Letter of Award for EPC from Oil India doe 9MWP(DC) Grid Interactive Solar Photo Voltaic Power Plant at Ramgarh, Jaisalmer in addition to its comprehensive operation & maintenance for 25 years at an approximate cost of Rs 88 crore, the company said in a release.

The stock opened at Rs 15.51 and touched a high of Rs 16.49 on the BSE. At 12:15AM over 931,000 shares were traded on both the stock exchanges.
