US markets close lower
The US markets saw some profit booking after the gains registered on the previous day.
The Dow closed at 10836, weaker by 52 points or 0.4%, Nasdaq ended at 2398, lower by 16 points or 0.6% and S&P shut at 1167, down six points or 0.5%.
The Indian ADRs ended mixed. Wipro closed at $23, weaker by $0.5 or 2.3%, Tata Motors ended at $17, lower by $0.3 or 1.9%, HDFC Bank ended at $130, lower by $1.8 or 1.3% and Infosys shut at $61, lower by $0.9 or 1.4%.
On the other hand, Patni Computers ended at $25, higher by $0.9 or 3.7% and Satyam shut at $5, up 1.1%.
