US markets end higher

The US markets broke a three-day losing streak to end higher on Monday. The Dow Jones closed at 10,196, higher by 23 points or 0.2%, Nasdaq ended at 2,210, stronger by 5.5 points or 0.2% and S&P shut at 1,096, up 5 points or 0.4%.

The Indian ADRs ended mixed. ICICI Bank closed at $36.9, higher by  $0.9 or 2.6%, HDFC Bank closed at $128, stronger by $2.6 or 2.1%. Tata Communication strengthened by $14.5 or $0.2 at 1.7% and Infosys added $0.3 or 0.7% at $54.

On the other hand, Satyam lost $0.2 or 4.8% at $5.1 and Patni Computers shed $0.2 or 1% at $20.2.
