Wall St slips; Indian ADRs slide

The Wall Street slipped on Tuesday after a stupendous rally on Monday. The Dow Jones industrial average index shed 1.5% (116 points) at 7,660. The Nasdaq plunged 2.5% (39 points) to 1,517.

Indian ADRs, too, ended with significant losses. Patni Computers and Sterlite slumped around 8% each to $5.21 and $6.31, respectively. HDFC Bank tumbled nearly 6% to $60.03. Infosys, Satyam, Wipro, ICICI Bank, MTNL, Tata Motors and Dr.Reddy's declined 3-5% each.
