Wall Street gains on housing data

US markets edged up on Monday as the new home sales data boosted home builder and banks.

The Dow added 15 points to 9,109. The Nasdaq was flat at 1,968 - up two points.

Indian ADRs were mostly up with MTNL surging 7% to $4.64.

Mahindra Satyam and Tata Motors gained 4% each at $5.33 and $10.49, respectively.

Genpact added 3% to $13.25. Dr Reddy's was up 1% at $16.77.

However, HDFC Bank slipped 2% to $94.2. Patni Computers also declined 1.5% to $11.81.
