Weak trading debut for Future Lifestyle

Future Lifestyle Fashions, the demerged entity of Future Retail and Future Ventures, declined 10% on its trading debut today.

Shares of the company ended at Rs 133 as against its pre-opening price of Rs 147.

Future Lifestyle was spun off as a separate company in November 2012. It houses the all branded and fashion businesses of Future Retail and Future Ventures.

Brands and formats such as Central, Brand Factory, Planet Sports, ALL and others come under this company.

The company was created after Future sold off Pantaloons format to Aditya Birla Nuvo.

Future Lifestyle has Rs 1,200 crore of debt on the books and expected to have a turnover of Rs 3,000 crore.
