Welspun Corp up on bagging Rs 2,070-cr orders
With the addition of these orders, the current order book of the company stands at Rs 7,447 crore
Welspun Corp has spurted over 5% to Rs 125 after the company said it has received orders worth Rs 2,070 crore from international and domestic markets.
"Welspun Corp has won pipes and plates orders worth Rs 2,070 crore from international and domestic market. With the addition of these orders, the current order book of the company stands at Rs 7,447 crore," a large diameter pipe manufacturer said in a filing.
“Over and above, Welspun has internal plate orders valued at Rs 311 crore, it added.
As many as a combined 342,661 shares have changed hands on the counter so far, against an average sub 300,000 shares that were traded daily in past two weeks on the NSE and BSE.
