Zee Entertainment up 7% ahead of Nifty inclusion

Zee Entertainment will replace United Spirits in the 50-share Nifty from September 19.

Zee Entertainment Enterprises has moved higher by 7% to Rs 310 on National Stock Exchange, ahead of its entry into the 50-share CNX Nifty index from tomorrow.

The trading volumes on the counter almost doubled with a combined 4.61 million shares changing hands till 1430 hours on NSE and BSE.

The National Stock Exchange's India Index Services (IISL) on August 20 said Zee Entertainment will replace United Spirits in the 50-share Nifty from September 19.

United Spirits, on the other hands, is trading lower by 1.5% at Rs 2,367 in otherwise strong market. The stock opened at Rs 2,410 and touched a low of Rs 2,351 so far. The benchmark index was up 1.6% at 8,104.
