Termed as a performance crossover, the F-Pace is built on Jaguars Lightweight Aluminum Architecture and is powered by petrol and diesel units. The engine lineup includes an 2.0-litre 177bhp, diesel manual, a 2.0-litre 237bhp petrol automatic, a 3.0-litre296bhp diesel automatic, and a 3.0-litre335bhp and 375bhp, petrol automatic They will come AWD options.
The F-Pace has a light and stiff body structure which consists of 80 percent aluminum, making it a oneof its kindmonocoque construction in its segment. Additional weight savings are achieved from the use of acomposite tailgate and magnesium for parts such as the cross-car beam. This allows theF-Pace to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 5.1 seconds and attain a top speed of 250 km/h, which is electronically-limited.
The wheelbase and track of the F-Pace is unique and is not shared with any other Jaguar. It is 4731mm long and has a wheelbase of 2874mm . Five adult can comfortablybe seatedand it has a boot space of 650 litres.The F-Pace featuresthe Adaptive Surface Response (ASR), developed from the Terrain Response technology, by Jagual Land Rover. It is integrated into Jaguar Drive Control and identifies the type of surface and optimizes the mapping of the powertrain and Dynamic Stability Control system.
It alsogets the InControl Touch Pro infotainment system witha 10.2-inch touchscreen and has a powerful quad-core processor and runs on ultra-fast Ethernet. Jaguar says the user interface is instinctive and extremely quick with sharp and incredibly responsive graphics. The F-Pace also offers a laser head-up display which communicatesinformation such as vehicle speed and speed limits to the driver.
The F-Pace crossoveralso has something called the 'Activity Key', which is a waterproof, shockproof wristband with an integrated transponder. This wearable technology supports active lifestyles andallows the key to be securely locked inside the vehicle. If the car is locked using theActivity Key, it disables any key that is left inside, thus providing additional security.
