The new Bolero will be a seven seater and it will have a wheel mounted on the tailgate. It will be made available with an option of five-speed manual and automated manual transmission options. The Bolero will be made available only in two-wheel drive, no four-wheel drive to begin with. The Bolero will be priced between Rs 6-9lakhs (on-road, pricing) and will be again sitting below the Scorpio.
2) SLX: This is the mid-level variant and it should get power steering, front and rear power windows and AC.
3) ZLX: This variant will get ABS as standard or optional and there will be old Scorpio's music system too. AMT will be offered on this variant.
The new Bolero will be a lot more fuel-efficient and even lighter because of the new chassis and downsized diesel engine. The Bolero won't be a sub 4-metre and will be targeting rural as well as urban markets with its new compact design.
