The Tivoli XLV is based on the XLV Air concept showcased last year at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The Tivoli XLV has the same wheelbase as the Tivoli which measures 2600mm, but the SUV is stretched at the rear for allowing more storage or passenger space. The boot capacity is said to have increased from 423 litres to 720 litres, with rear seats folded.
The Tivoli XLV will get minor styling updated, but will largely resemble the regular Tivoli. The engines will be shared with the Tivoli which are a 1.6-litre petrol and a 1.6-litre diesel engine. There will also be an option of a four wheel drive. Ssangyong says the Tivoli XLV provides the versatility needed to meet a wide range of individual lifestyles".
The Ssangyong Tivoli was showcased by Mahindra at the Auto Expo 2016 and it will be launched by the end of this year.
