'One Direction' star Louis Tomlinson's 4-year-old post on Twitter has surpassed Barack Obama's "4 more years" tweet.
In 2011, the 23-year-old singer had written to Harry Styles "Always in my heart. Yours sincerely, Louis," which has now been shared 774,321 times becoming the 2nd most retweeted post ever, the Independent reported.
Obama's post re-election tweet has been retweeted 757,668 times, however, Ellen DeGeneres's star-studded Oscar selfie has beaten both the posts, which has nearly 3.4 million retweets.
Both Obama and DeGeneres's posts had taken off as soon as they were posted, while Tomlinson's took time to catch up, but DeGeneres's selfie posted in March 2014, had helped it to become "the year of the selfie" according to Twitter.
