A new video showing the two gunmen who killed 12 people at the French satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo's headquarters last week in Paris has emerged wherein the Kouachi brothers are shouting in the street "We have avenged the Prophet Muhammed" after the massacre.

According to News.com.au, the brothers Said and Cherif Kouachi were dressed clad in black and shouting that they "have killed Charlie Hebdo".

The video is believed to show the footage of the gunmen calmly talking outside the car before they entered and then driving off and encountering police metres down the street.

Meanwhile, Jordi Mur who posted the cold-blooded video showing the murder of Paris police officer Ahmed Merabet online on Facebook that went viral, said that he regretted uploading the video footage.

However, Mur had taken the video down after 15 minutes but it had become the defining image of Paris attacks.
