The Punjab Police on Friday seized 1200 bottles of illegal liquor from Ludhiana, with three people arrested for the same.
"The bottles, which were in 100 crates, were being transported in two different cars. Around 40 bottles were caught at a check post in Dhandari Kalan, while the remaining bottles were caught at a check point at the Gyaspur area of the city," ACP Gurwinder Kaur told the media.
"Of the three arrested, two have previously been convicted of alcohol-related incidents," she added.
