Brit boyband One direction has been snubbed from best musical track shortlists by the Academy Awards.
The Academy recently announced their 79 shortlisted artists and ignored the four-member bands' hit like 'Story Of My Life' and 'Midnight Memories' from their movie 'Where We Are', the Daily Star reported.
A source asserted that One Direction was very disappointed and upset at being overlooked for a second year in a row as their music from the movie were hits across the world, and especially 'Story Of My Life' was one of the greatest tracks of 2013.
The source added that even Executive Producer Simon Cowell felt snubbed. oldplay, singer Lana Del Ray, Glen Campbell and Lorde are among the artists that have been nominated in the original song category.
