Maharashtra Government has signed 2436MOUs during the Make in India week, said Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Monday.
"Maharashtra crosses few more milestones at @makeinindia, 2436MOUs signed, 6.11 lakh crore proposed investment, 28.2 lakh estimated job creation," tweeted Fadnavis.
The Make in India Week is being organised in Mumbai, which brought together industrialists from different parts of the country to discuss ways to make India the world's manufacturing hub.
The Indian government wants global and domestic companies to manufacture in the country in an effort to boost employment and bring down expensive imports.
