Three captains in the three different formats of cricket for South Africa's national squad is a good thing according to the team's manager Mohammed Moosajee.
Hashim Amla was recently named as Graeme Smith's successor as Test captain, while AB de Villiers and Faf du Plessis spearhead ODI and Twenty20 sides respectively.
According to Sport24, Moosajee said that he could see in the last while how drained Graeme Smith had become when he was still captain of the Test and ODI side, adding that he is convinced that three captains will complement each other very well and would work close together with other senior members in the squad.
Moosajee said that as captain Smith had a presence that commanded respect and De Villiers leads by his example and flair, while Du Plessis is very pragmatic and methodical.
Moosajee further added that he believes Amla would be very inspiring as Test captain.
