4 dead, 100 injured in Pak's Punjab train crash

At least four people were killed and over 100 injured when Awami Express, which was on its way to Peshawar from Karachi, crashed into another train in Multan city of Pakistan's Punjab province this morning.

"At least four people have been killed and scores others wounded," the Express Tribune quoted local district administration official Nadir Chattha.

District Coordination Officer (DCO) of Multan has said that all those who were stranded inside the trains were rescued.

Meanwhile, rescue operations are underway.
