'Fifty Shades of Grey' has been banned in Malaysia by Malaysian Film Censorship Board (LPF) due to its sadistic sexual content.
Abdul Halim Hamid, chairman of LPF explained that Sam Taylor-Johnson's upcoming film contains scenes that are not of natural sexual content, and it features scenes of a woman being tied to a bed and whipped, E! Online reported.
The E.L. James' film adaption was first supposed to hit theatres in Malaysia on Feb. 12, but now it won't be released throughout the country.
