A new survey has revealed that 67 percent people across the globe prefer mobile as their primary platform for watching movies, music videos, and TV shows.
The survey conducted by Vuclip, a premium mobile video on demand service, showed that about 70 percent men and 56 percent women like watching their favorite TV shows, movies and videos on mobile phones as opposed to 20 percent of men and 29 percent of women who still prefer their televisions.
While 73 percent of men and 61 percent of women, who were surveyed, said that it is important that the video should not buffer while they are watching it, 54 percent of men and 49 percent of women said that they would pay to download videos just to avoid buffering.
Out of the 12,000 people surveyed worldwide, about 81 percent respondents were from emerging markets of India, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia.
