Minister of Overseas Indian Affairs Vyalar Ravi and New South Wales Premier Barry O'Farrell announced this in Patna on Thursday.

The Pravasi Bhartiya Divas, an annual flagship event of the Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs, provides a platform to Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) and Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) to engage with the government and the people of India in charting out mutually beneficial partnerships.
Over a thousand participants from the Indian community in Australia and the Pacific are expected to attend the event.
