The condition of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate from Seemapuri assembly constituency Santosh Koli is critical after she was hit by a speeding car near the Kaushambi metro station in Ghaziabad on Sunday afternoon.
Koli, who has undergone a head surgery, is on life support.
The accident occurred near Kaushambi Metro station under Link Road police station of Ghaziabad.
An FIR has been filed against unnamed persons under Section 307, 279, 337, 338 of the Indian Penal Code at Link Road police station, Ghaziabad.
However, the AAP has not ruled out the possibility of the episode being a conspiracy.
"Santosh Koli, our candidate from Seemapuri constituency, has been hit by car. She is in very critical condition. Please pray for her. Is it an accident? Or deliberate?" Aam Admi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal tweeted.
